How often are the classes, and how long?
Two live sessions a week, 40 or 55 minutes each, one-on-one, with the same coach for the whole term. A term runs about three months.
What devices do I need for attending your classes?
A laptop with a camera and a quiet space. Phones won't work.
Is this homework help or exam prep?
Neither. Cueword is a communication program that runs alongside school, built around stories your child picks.
What if my child has gaps from earlier grades?
That's common. If the evaluation or coach spots a gap, the coach fills it with foundation lessons within your 26 classes a term, with no extra classes to book.
Can my child join anytime of the year?
Yes, any time of the year.
What if I don’t like the coach?
We match carefully, but if it isn't the right fit, tell us and we'll move your child to another coach.
What if it's not the right fit?
Classes are billed per term, with no annual lock-in. Stop any time. We refund the unused classes left in your term. Read the Refund Policy
What happens if my child misses a Cueword class?
Plan ahead and it isn't lost: cancel the class in the Cueword Parent app at least 12 hours before it starts, or message your coach there to move it to another time before it starts. A class missed without cancelling or moving it counts as used.
How can I keep track of my child’s progress?
After every class, the coach sends a class summary in the Cueword Parent app. You also meet the coach twice a term, and get a report after each mid-term and end-of-term assessment.
